Finance Reports
The four reports finance runs every week, and the one button that hands your accountant a clean month. Go to /[company]/analytics/finance.
Finance reports are available from the Growth plan. The numbers underneath are never plan-gated — your dashboard reads them on every plan; the report pages are what Growth adds.
Receivables Aging#
Step 1. Open Receivables aging
Step 2. Pick an As of date (today by default)
What you'll see: what customers still owe, bucketed current / 1–30 / 31–60 / 61–90 / 90+ days, per customer, with the invoices behind each figure. It is keyed on the balance, never on a status — an invoice refunded in cash but never credited still owes, and shows here.
Multi-currency workspaces see one table per currency, and a base-currency total only when every currency has an exchange rate.
Payables Aging#
The same view for what you owe vendors — approved bills bucketed by how late they are. Click a vendor to see the bills.
VAT & Withholding Tax#
Step 1. Open VAT & WHT
Step 2. Pick a Period (this month, last month, this quarter, year to date, or custom) and a Basis:
- Accrual — by document date (issue / approval). What a return needs.
- Cash — by payment date.
What you'll see, per currency:
- Output VAT (charged) — tax on invoices issued, net of credit notes
- Input VAT (paid) — tax on approved expenses and bills
- Net VAT payable (or reclaimable)
- WHT withheld by customers — your credit to claim, and how much of it still has no receipt
- WHT we withheld from vendors — what you must remit
Below that, output VAT by tax rate. These are the numbers behind a return, not the return.
Income & Spend#
Not a statutory P&L — no depreciation, accruals or adjustments. Your accountant's tool produces that from the Accountant pack.
Step 1. Open Income & spend
Step 2. Pick the period and basis
What you'll see: Income (invoiced net of VAT, less credit notes — or cash received on the cash basis), Spend (approved expenses and bills), Net, each with a change against the previous period of the same length, and spend by category with its share.
Balances#
Two lists: every customer with outstanding, overdue, credit held and net; every vendor with owed, overdue and the net to pay after WHT. Click a name to open the record.
The Accountant Pack#
One click produces everything your accountant needs to do the ledger, the VAT return and the year-end.
Step 1. On the Finance reports page, scroll to Accountant pack
Step 2. Pick the Period (last month by default) and click Generate pack (accountant or admin)
What you'll see: the row shows queued, then building, then ready with download links. You also get an email.
The pack contains:
Leadboard-<company>-<period>.xlsx— one sheet per register, every row, in your accountant's vocabulary: Summary (the VAT & WHT and Income & spend numbers, the basis, the base currency and the schema version) · Invoices · Invoice lines · Credit notes · Refunds · Customer payments · Customer credits · Quotes · Expenses · Bills · Bill lines · Bill payments · Vendors · Customers · Tax configs · Exchange rates · Aging (receivables and payables as of the period end).receipts-<period>.zip— every receipt, bill attachment and WHT receipt uploaded in the period, filed by register and number. Only present when there is something to include.
Sheet order and column names are fixed and versioned, so an accountant's import mapping keeps working from month to month. Generating again makes a new pack; old packs stay — they are what was sent.
Tip: The sheets are laid out to map onto the import templates of Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Xero. Hand over the pack; the ledger is their job.
