When you connect a WhatsApp Business number, Facebook Page, Instagram account or lead ads form to Leadboard, Meta shares data with us so we can provide those features to your workspace. This includes:
We use data from Meta only to provide Leadboard's features to the workspace that connected the account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with other customers. Access tokens from Meta are stored encrypted. When a customer asks you to stop messaging them on WhatsApp (for example by replying STOP), Leadboard records it and stops broadcasts and marketing messages to that number. You can disconnect any Meta account from Leadboard at any time, or remove Leadboard from your Meta business settings; we then stop accessing the account. To delete the data we received from Meta, use leadboard.ng/account-deletion or email support@leadboard.ng, and we delete it within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, regular security audits, role-based access controls, and automated anomaly detection for email sending. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. CRM data (leads, contacts, campaigns) is retained until you delete it or close your account. Upon account closure, we delete or anonymize all associated data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
